It was good to hook up with our good friends Pastor Lance & Leigh Prathaftakis from Indiana. It was also good to see all of our friends from across the country. This is always kind of like a family reunion. We were able to minister the Word of God but we were not on the streets like usual. With the way I was feeling I asked the Lord to just give me one solid witness and that He did. A young man walked right up to me one night and he had conviction all over him. He was Catholic and trying to justify what he was doing on Bourbon Street. I ministered the Word to him and he was very broken. He thanked me for telling him the truth and he vowed that he was going to get his life in order. That encounter made the whole trip worth it!
Angie had a lady come up to her and say that someone with one of our shirts said something to her son last year that changed his life forever! That was awesome news to hear!
I was able to be out on the streets here for a short time yesterday. We received a bunch of food from one of the stores. I picked it up then took it into the McDougald Terrace Projects. I should have gotten some help with this because it wiped me out. It was a blessing to see the people there so happy to receive the food with the rough weather we are having.
I pray that I will be back to full strength soon. Never have I ever had a virus that affected me so bad as this one. I appreciate all the prayers that went up for us on the trip and for my health. I ask that you continue to pray for me so that I can get back out there full time again.
