MARATHON MINISTRY WEEK FUNDRAISER
MAY 10TH @ 3:00 P.M. – MAY 17TH @ 3:00 P.M.
We would like to announce our first annual Marathon Ministry Week and Fundraiser! Pastor Terry will live at our ministry headquarters, 1512 Holloway Street, for seven (7) days beginning May 10th. This will be a time of earnestly seeking the Lord around the clock, a time of experiencing everything and everyone on Holloway Street. We will minister to all of those with an open heart and mind 24/7. We want His will to be done and this ministry to grow and change as He instructs. We want to be uncomfortable; press in, and learn what the Lord has planned. It will be a comfort fast; an exhausting time for Pastor Terry as he stays focused on what the Lord intends for all aspects of Bull City Outreach Ministries (BCOM).
Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners; 2 To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn…
This will be an intense time of prayer, outreach and seeking the Lord for Durham, so we ask that you begin to pray NOW for this event and what will be your role. We need prayer, monetary donations, food and supply donations, and your help before and throughout the week. We will soon explain all of the details and how you can pledge to support BCOM and Pastor Terry for 168 hours of ministry. We also ask that you prayerfully consider spending some hours with us and have people sponsor your time with donations. There will be daily opportunities for prayer, study and ministry with a big outreach on Saturday, May 16th.
Most importantly, we pray for the Lord to work in the lives of prostitutes, drug addicts, drug dealers, alcoholics, gang members, homeless, kids, and all that are struggling. We will be praying for people by name daily! Many of these people Pastor Terry has been ministering to for over six (6) years and they remain in bondage: That is not ok with us! We want people to surrender to Him and be set free and I know this is one of the main reasons the Lord has laid this event on Pastor Terry’s heart.
