Now we will get into the real meat of what The Word of God says about paganism and idolatry. There are so many verses dealing with this so I just list some of them……
Genesis 35:2 So Jacob told everyone in his household, "Get rid of all your pagan idols, purify yourselves, and put on clean clothing.
Jacob, unlike many in this country who choose to follow “american traditions” would not allow anything pagan in his house. Jacob knew that it was against the Lord! He basically told his family that they were filthy by having anything to do with paganism.
Deuteronomy 12:4 "Do not worship the LORD your God in the way these pagan peoples worship their gods.
What Moses was telling the Israelites here was that THEY WERE NOT TO BRING PAGAN WORSHIP AND MIX IT WITH GODLY WORSHIP! How much more clear can it be than that but yet I know pastors that are going to have the “easter bunny” at their service on RESURRECTION SUNDAY??? In Acts 5, Ananias and Sapphira were struck dead for lying. This was because the glory of God was so thick in that place. In this country because of its wickedness the glory of God has lifted. Sorry to disappoint the “American flag waving, baseball, hotdogs, and apple pie people” but one of the few things that Obama has said right is that “this country IS NOT a Christian nation”. He was VERY RIGHT! The people of this country who choose to spit in the face of the Lord with their disobedience will a harsh judgment but it will be delayed because of the lifting of His glory. If the glory of God was here and you had a pastor introducing the easter bunny then both of them were struck dead this nonsense would stop! That goes for ALL the PAGANISM that is involved with easter! I am sure that there was nobody wanting to not tell the truth after seeing what happened to Ananias and Sapphira. I have been part of this false worship in the past but in reading a book by John Bevere entitled “The Fear of the Lord”, I can no longer have any part in going against the Lord! NO MORE!
Psalms 106:35 Instead, they mingled among the PAGANS and adopted their evil customs. 36 They worshiped their idols, which led to their downfall.
People, this is no different than what has taken place in this country which was led by the wicked Catholics. We have adopted many of the same evil customs that this Word is referring to! So many have told me that “it is no big deal and that it is tradition”. It will indeed lead to a downfall! Many people have gotten angry with me for not wanting to follow “man’s tradition”. It’s strange that not too many get upset when people blatantly go against God’s Word! This country is falling apart because of its refusal to truly follow the Word of God! Most that profess to be Christians in this country are IGNORANT as to what God’s Word says! The majority who stand behind the pulpits are not man enough to go against the flow. For many (NOT ALL) they are more concerned about the offering plate than they are about following God’s Word! There is NO FEAR OF THE LORD!
Psalms 106:39 They defiled themselves by their evil deeds, and their love of idols was adultery in the LORD's sight. 40 That is why the LORD's anger burned against His people, and He abhorred His own special possession. 41 He handed them over to pagan nations, and they were ruled by those who hated them. 42 Their enemies crushed them and brought them under their cruel power. 43 Again and again He rescued them, but they chose to rebel against Him, and they were finally destroyed by their sin.
The masses of people in this country love the paganistic holidays. They love Santa, the easter bunny and even Satan’s Halloween along with others that follow pagan tradition. We have defiled ourselves when we participate in these events! This is the same as idol worship! Do people actually think that God is going to wink at their sin? He abhorred people that participated in these things which means that he hated it and was disgusted with it! The people chose to continue to rebel against Him and they were eventually destroyed which will be the same outcome for those in this country that choose to continue to go against Him! I don’t care how many “false sinners’ prayers” you have repeated, if you go against the Lord you are going to HELL!
Psalms 137:4 But how can we sing the songs of the LORD while in a pagan land?
When we bring the easter bunny and the easter eggs into what is supposed to be a House of God we turn it into “pagan land”. When the songs of the Lord are sung in this atmosphere it is an abomination unto the Lord!
Micah 5:14 I will abolish your idol shrines with their Asherah poles and destroy your pagan cities. 15 I will pour out My vengeance on all the nations that refuse to obey Me."
How could anyone be foolish enough to think that this country will not see “His vengeance” for its disobedience?
Isaiah 27:9 The LORD did this to purge Israel's wickedness, to take away all her sin. As a result, all the pagan altars will be crushed to dust. No Asherah pole or pagan shrine will be left standing.
So do you really think that if he was in these churches on RESURRECTION SUNDAY that he would not destroy the easter bunny along with everything related? The “Asherah pole” was a pole that honored “the mother goddess Asherah”. Easter is the English name, Eastre is the Anglo-Saxon name, Ishtar is the Babylonian name, Ashtaroth is the Hebrew name and Astarte is the Greek name of “THE FERTILITY GODDESS”. Okay! So he destroyed everything to do with that “goddess” but he is going to wink at the little pagan easter bunny? I do not think so!
Isaiah 65:2 All day long I opened My arms to a rebellious people. But they follow their own evil paths and their own crooked schemes. 3 All day long they insult Me to My face by worshiping idols in their sacred gardens. They burn incense on pagan altars.
Same thing the majority of the people of the “good ole U.S. of A.” are doing!
