For many “professing Christians” in the United States of America the country, its patriotism and its traditions are placed above Jesus. Many would say that this is not true but the Word states that “you will know them by their fruit. (Matthew 7:16) Without going into a great deal of detail the majority of the holidays in this country were not set up with God and The Bible in mind. They attempted to relate them but that does not work in the eyes of God. What has happened in this country is that we have been “programmed” from the time that we are born to accept these things making them “a major part of our lives”. Two major holidays, Christmas and Easter have significant ties to Jesus but in the high majority of families Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny rank higher than Him.
I will briefly touch on the difference between “Kingdom Christians” and “American Christians”. A “Kingdom Christian” is someone that is completely sold out to the Lord. Even as a new follower of Christ they are that “new creation” according to 2Corinthians 5:17. They are striving to have the old things gone and have all things become new! They may not be hitting on all the cylinders but they are striving to. Jesus is 1st place in every phase of their lives. They have a hunger and passion to know Jesus and to know the Word of God! They strive daily to serve Jesus and strive daily to “walk as He walked”. (1John 2:6) They “fit in” with Jesus and NOT THE WORLD!
I also will not use the word “believer” because in this country so many “are believers”. (This is part of the “Christianese language” of the American church) There is another one that is “a believer” and that is THE DEVIL! People will tell me that they are a believer and I tell them that is not telling me anything because the devil is a believer. He believes and knows much more than the majority of professing Christians. People will tell me that they go to church and I will tell them that, that also is not a big deal because the devil goes to church too! It is about being “A FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST”!
“American Christians” tend to have Sunday morning be the highlight of their Christian walk. They are deceived into thinking that their “church attendance” will have something to do with going to heaven. Most do not know what’s in their Bible, they know whatever the pastor or leader tells them whether it’s right or wrong. They probably do not use profanity and drink “as much” as the “truthful non-follower” of Christ but there really isn’t that much difference between them and the world. The good ones will go to church even if they have a bad hangover from partying Saturday night but the pastor better not even think of letting them out late where they miss the start of their ball game! Many pastors have deceived and set these people up for eternal hell because they repeated a prayer then were told that they were saved without the REPENTANCE of their sins.
Many “professing Christians” in this country because of this will continue to practice sin in their lives. They will be told that they are “a work in progress”. If they die while being “a work in progress and living a life of practicing sin then they end up in hell. The Bible is extremely clear in 1John 3:8 that “he who practices SIN is of the DEVIL”! Most “American Christians” do believe this. They would rather find a “hyper grace” church or a church that tells them that all they have to do is “repeat the sinners prayer” (which is man-made) then they are good. “American Christians” know how to speak “Christianese” (all the right christian things to say) but again, they know little or nothing about the Bible. Three verses that describe an “American Christian” very well are:
Matthew 15:8 'These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.
Luke 6:46 "So why do you keep calling Me 'Lord, Lord!' when you don't do what I say?
Titus 1:16 Such people claim they know God, but they deny Him by the way they live.
Those three verses do a great job of describing the masses who occupy pews on Sunday morning but to go into more detail is the following verses…..
2Timothy 3:2 For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane. 3 [They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good. 4 [They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God. 5 For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession].
In this country a person can find whatever “flavor of christianity” they want. It’s like a hyper Baskin Robbins here! You can get whatever flavor your little heart desires! If they want to find a homosexual church, they can find one. If they want to find one where the people drink and party all week then go to church on Sunday they can find MANY! The “cool churches” with the “rock star personalities” behind the pulpit are sprouting up everywhere! If you want to see the “demon Bono” and hear the secular music of U2 as blasphemous praise and worship it’s out there!
Isaiah 5:20 What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.
In the U.S. a person can find a church that will welcome and not challenge their sinful lives. Every type of sinner is welcome to our ministry but I guarantee you that they will leave or be changed for JESUS! They will hear the UNCOMPROMISED WORD OF GOD!
In this country the 66 books of The Bible are not enough anymore. They now have “the formula” for building a “mega-church” that the people will flock to like ignorant sheep to a slaughter. The Word of God is not enough so they must incorporate “the world” into what is “supposed to be” the House of God. Let’s take the cross off the church so people won’t be offended! Oh yes, you can find it here! The world’s ways are better than God’s ways in this “WICKED COUNTRY”! One of the few things that the “demon Obama” has ever said that was true was that this was not a “CHRISTIAN NATION”. He was exactly right on! We must pray for that man!
Romans 12:2 Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
James 4:4 Don't you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.
1John 2:15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.
There will be masses of people that carried Christian titles in this country that on JUDGMENT DAY they will stand before the Lord with blood dripping from their hands because they have failed to lead the people according to The Word of God.
Ezekiel 3:18 "When I say to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 "Yet if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered yourself. 20 "Again, when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I place an obstacle before him, he will die; since you have not warned him, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. 21 "However, if you have warned the righteous man that the righteous should not sin and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; and you have delivered yourself." (repeated in Ezekiel 33)
There are many with the pastor title that are leading the people astray. They do not hear from the Lord and more than that they have no fear of the Lord. They are busy building their false “Jesus Corporation” for their own fame and gain! It is sad but it is true and the people of this country fall for it. One day if they do not wake up they will find themselves in hell for all eternity.
Jeremiah 23:22 If they had stood before Me and listened to Me, they would have spoken My words, and they would have turned My people from their evil ways and deeds.
