INTERESTING TIME MINISTERING TO TWO PROSITUTES

I had an interesting time ministering to two prostitutes at our headquarters this past Saturday. I was down there along with a friend doing some clean up and catch up. Our friend (Kim) told me that one of the prostitutes had backed up to our window and made an inappropriate gesture. I stepped outside and two of them were not standing far from the door. One was a female and the other was not doing a  very good job of being a female impersonator. The male prostitutes have actually overtaken the females on Holloway Street. They slap on a wig and some red lipstick and they stand on the street corner! There are plenty of males with perverted minds to keep them in business. I am going to start taking pictures of these "pervs"! Some of them are well dressed businessmen looking types. They are just well dressed pervs!

I asked which one of them made the devilish gesture and they started in on how I was judging them. I told them that I do not judge them but the Bible judges them. This is after they both "professed" to be Christians. I really compliment people when they are honest enough to say that they are not Christians but that is rare! As I continued to talk to them about the Word of God they continued to tell me that what I was saying was not in the Bible. I told them to come in and I would show them. Both of them did not want to do that either till the male said that he was hungry then asked if I had any food. I told him to come in and I would get something for him.

They both came in and as they did I told the male that I wanted him to read one of the scriptures that we had been talking about which was also on the wall......

1Corinthians 6:9 Don't you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or prostitutes, or homosexuals, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.

He read the entire two verses and right after he finished he immediately started sweating profusely! We could see the beads of sweat all over his face! He commented several times on how hot he was getting. I know that a Meth user will sweat like that but this did not start at all until he had read the verses. He said "I have to get out of here" but he never attempted to leave? It was not hot in there to anyone else? I asked him if he wanted something to drink then we walked over to the frig. He grabbed a bottle of water and a soda then continuing to complain about the heat he started walking toward the couch. He made the comment "Lord, what are you doing to me"? He said "I am so hot"! I quickly advised him that the heat that he was feeling now was not anything compared to the heat he would be feeling in hell if he does not repent of his lifestyle! He sat down and continued to talk about how hot he was as I ministered the Word of God to them. The female was shocked at what was going on and the conviction of the Lord was all over her also. No doubt that these two had been around the word at some point of their lives. All of this lasted around 20-30 minutes. No doubt either that by the time they were ready to walk out the door they knew that I was not someone just out to judge them but I genuinely cared about their souls. They know without a doubt that if they were to die that they would go to hell unless they repented of their lifestyle. Both of them had told me earlier outside that they were going to go to heaven regardless of what they were doing and regardless of what I had to say.

The male said that he needed to get back and talk with me soon one on one. Conviction was all over the female! Both thanked me for ministering to them and they departed. His name is Kashawn and I can not remember hers. He wanted to be called Kay but I refused. He had asked if we thought he was pretty? I told him no because he was trying to be something that God did not create him to be. I told him that I knew that he had good in him because of some of the things he had said but the Lord could never use any of that unless he gave his life to Him. I pray that this indeed happens for both of them. Please pray for them!

Kim's comment: "Pastor Terry began to preach the Word of God and Kashawn started sweating immensely and stated several times that he needed to go, It was not even hot in there. What I witnessed was a true conviction on this person through the preaching of God's Word! To have been able to watch this conviction was an experience that I will never forget. God is amazing"!

Terry, I met you at Dayspring years ago. I have physical problems which prevent me from moving much without a cane or walker but I can pray and I will pray for your ministry. I am also an attorney and would be blessed to help you anyway I can. You can reach me at (919) 419-1811. God bless you and your ministry.
