POWERFUL JAIL MINISTRY!

6/20/2017

Since I had a thought a short time ago of possibly pulling off of Holloway Street the Lord has showed me a number of situations that confirm I am not going anywhere. Today while visiting the Durham County Jail with Chaplain Vinny Abbruscato there was yet another one. We were visiting with three inmates when another one tapped on his window pointing to me and saying that he wanted to see me. When we finished up with the others he came out and sat down. He looked kind of familiar but I could not place him. As he started telling about his visit to the ministry it brought back to my mind our meeting. He had looked at the wall as I ministered to him. He is a young Crip gang member in the jail on a murder charge. He had also brought his gang affiliated brother back to show him the wall. For those that do not know the wall is in our headquarters located at 1512 Holloway Street and it contains all those that have been murdered since I started ministry here in Durham. (January of 2009) There are over 250 names on the wall now.  Chaplain Vinny and I saw a great deal of potential in this young man as he spoke to us. What was really something was his honesty. Chaplain Vinny asked him if he committed the murder and he confessed to us that he did it. One thing we find is that just about everyone in jail are not guilty of what they are in there for. Law enforcement just goes around and picks these people up for no reason? He told us of how he had no intention of it going down the way it did. All that was going to happen is that the man was going to be robbed and that was it. There were times of tears but he was quick to wipe them away so that no fellow inmates would see any of what they would call weakness.

As we continued talking with the young man he said that he would not be able to do before the district attorney and say the same thing that he said to us. That quickened me to start into the scriptures with him. I asked Chaplain Vinny to open his Bible to Revelation 21:8 as I continued talking with him. I asked him the question “what would you be doing if you went before the district attorney and told them a different story”? He said, “I would be lying”. I then asked Chaplain Vinny to read the verse.

Revelation 21:8 "But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

We talked to him about the importance of doing what was right in the Lord’s eyes. He told us then of his concerns about getting a heavy sentence like life or the death penalty. I quickly responded with “if you were able to get an attorney to get you off on a lesser consequence you would still have to face the Lord one day and pay in full for the sin that you have committed”! I assured him that if he did not do this the right way that one day his sentence would be eternal hell! We assured him that if he was going to go the right way with the Lord that we would be right by his side throughout this charge. I looked him in the eyes and said, “if you want to lie and not be faithful to the Lord then I have to be honest with you and tell you that I will not stand with you”.  He had told us about his 2-year-old son and we talked to him about the importance of being honest and upright so one day his son could be proud of him. I pulled a picture out of Micaiah and told him of the things I am already doing in his life to bring him up right in the Lord and to have him be proud to have me as a dad. He listened very intently as the tears welled up in his eyes! He like so many others told us of how his dad was not there for him. This is a massive problem in dealing with the youth today. “Baby-mama/Baby daddy” is a disease that is crippling so many lives!

Even though this young man has taken someone’s life I still see a great deal of potential that could be used for the Kingdom if he is totally faithful to the Lord as we spoke to him about the importance of being. I assured him that if did this right that I would commit to being in his life to mentor and disciple him. A huge problem with dealing with people in the jail is that the Americanized church system has messed their minds up so bad that you must do so much untangling before they understand what the actual Word of God is actually saying. We can see when we bring the truth of the word to them that they brighten up as to see that there truly is hope in Christ Jesus!

We have had so many gang members come through the door of the ministry. The Lord quickening my mind to putting up the names on wall has been a draw for them along with many others. What I received today from this meeting is that we will seldom know right away of the impact of the different meetings that take place at the ministry. I did not think too much about the two times that this young man came in but with this it will make me think more about the importance of anyone and everyone who walks through that door or the door of the café. For me sometimes it gets so repetitive of people coming in that I lose the thought of each person that we minister to is a seed planted for the Kingdom. No doubt that the way this young man spoke about me and the ministry that it definitely impacted him coming in! Times like this help strengthen us to be more impactful in reaching people for Jesus! Thank you Lord for this time that Chaplain Vinny and I had today not with just this young man but with all the inmates that we visited!

It's time to get the rent for HQ and the Holy Way Cafe' squared away for the next 12 months! THANK YOU to all of the individuals and businesses that committed to and supported the ministry for the past year in numerous ways. We pay $12,000 annually for rent, not including utilities, insurance and other costs.

Our dream is to have the cafe' and HQ open 24/7/365. Seldom is there a time where a prostitute, addict or homeless person could not benefit from our services. We currently make the spaces available for free to other similar ministries such as Ignite Outreach, I AM Outreach and Trinity Outreach. Prayerfully consider helping us reach our goal by donating before or during the ministry marathon May 18-21, 2017. Plan to drop off sodas, bottled water, candy or other items used regularly by the ministries. This year's marathon is 72 hours and involves ministry partners helping Pastor Terry work the cafe' and HQ for the duration. Follow us on Facebook to learn of the activities planned during the fundraiser and come out for fun, fellowship, intense prayer and all of the Lord's work.

We are praying and believing for individuals, churches, or businesses to sponsor a month ($500) for either our Ministry Headquarters or The HolyWay Cafe for the months of May through April of next year. We currently have raised $3500 which includes $500 of the $1000 needed for this month. Many are unable to support a full month but if you would like to help by sponsoring per hour this would help us also. For instance .50 for the 72 hours would be a donation of $36, $1 = $72, $2 = $144, $3 = $216, $4 = $288, $5 = $360, etc.

Come support our missions team to the annual Mardi Gras 2017 Outreach in New Orleans, LA. Our team will join hundreds of other witnesses and evangelists for Christ from around the country on Bourbon Street and the surrounding area February 22-28, 2017. To raise the funds for the per person cost of $1,032, we will serve up homemade spaghetti dinners with garlic bread, dessert & drinks from 11-5 on Saturday, February 11th.

Mardi Gras is always an an intense time of ministry, mentally and physically. We appreciate your prayers as we prepare financially and spiritually to enter a very dark place to show others the light of Christ. This will be my 16th Mardi Gras outreach and there are families praying for the divine appointments we will encounter there. Please come out and help sponsor our team. Donations ONL accepted. We want to thank Ridgecrest Baptist Church (1104 Milton Rd. Durham) for letting us use their kitchen for this event.

A WARNING: 9-2-16

9/2/2016

Picture
I had plans for my “day off” today but the Lord changed them. That seems to happen often! He gave me this warning to put out and I pray that people will read it in its entirety. It could very well determine the eternal destination for you or someone you care for. So many people in this country are deceived with the belief that they carry as to where they will spend eternity.

A WARNING: 9-2-16

2Timothy 4:3 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will reject the truth and chase after myths.

So many times this week I have encountered people and situations where people profess to be of Christ but it is so clear that they are not. So many people professing to be of Christ will one day lift their eyelids to find themselves in a place called hell for all eternity.

Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no respite (no pause, no intermission, no rest, no peace) day or night-

There are so many people that call themselves pastors that are flat out deceiving people. They are demons of Satan and the worse thing is that people in this country are so ignorant of the word of God that they are falling for Satan’s cheap tricks!

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

The sad fact is that so many do have the knowledge of what the Bible says but they refuse to live it out because they love sin more than they love Jesus. A horrifying fact is that people will be held accountable for every word of God that they know when they bend their knees before the Lord for judgment! The Bible is clear that it would have been better for them not to have known the truth than to know it and not do it.

2Peter 2:20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. 21 For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.

The Lord has showed me on a number of occasions that over 90% of the people professing to be Christians in the high majority of the churches in this country will never spend eternity with Him. The Lord has showed me that there will be more pastors in hell that there will be in heaven. With so many that profess to be of Christ it is so much easier to see their worldliness that it is to see any sign of them being of Christ. Few walk as He walked!

1John 2:6 Whoever says he abides in Him ought [as a personal debt] to walk and conduct himself in the same way in which He walked and conducted Himself.

Satan continues daily to lure people in with the worldliness of this wicked country. The Bible gives us so many warning not to be of this world but people follow Satan like dumb sheep to a slaughter!

James 4:4 Don't you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.

1John 2:15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

Romans 12:2 Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

One area that I see much of this is in the music that people listen to. So many listen to plain trash that it clearly of the devil! If it goes against the Word of God, it is of the devil! Rap music takes a hard hit and rightfully so for its pitiful messages. This country has given a free pass to the majority of the “good ole boys & girls” of country music because they wave the American flag and they talk about baseball, hotdogs and apple pie. If they are singing about sex, partying, and other things of the world they are of the devil! If the lyrics are not of God, then they are of the devil. It does not matter what type of music it is! It doesn’t matter how you attempt to justify (just-a-lie) or rationalize (rational lies) your excuse for participating in it. It is flat out ignorance for a person to profess to be of Christ and link themselves to one of these demons. If you are doing this you may as well be standing before the Lord and  be spitting right in His face!

2Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness? 15 What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial [the devil]? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?

1Corinthians 10:21 You cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and from the cup of demons, too. You cannot eat at the Lord's Table and at the table of demons, too. 22 What? Do we dare to rouse the Lord's jealousy? Do you think we are stronger than He is? 23 You say, "I am allowed to do anything"—but not everything is good for you. You say, "I am allowed to do anything"—but not everything is beneficial.

NO ONE that is truly saved would think of having any part of them! The only way a TRUE CHRISTIAN should be at a worldly concert would be if they were there to preach the gospel in order to get the worldly people truly saved.

1Kings 18:21 Then Elijah stood in front of them and said, "How much longer will you waver, hobbling between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!" But the people were completely silent.

Romans 6:16 Don't you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.

Ephesians 5:10 Carefully determine what pleases the Lord. 11 Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. 12 It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. 13 But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, 14 for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, "Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light." 15 So be careful how you live. Don't live like fools, but like those who are wise. 16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. 17 Don't act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.

I preached a message last weekend and a third of the people got up and walked out, some shaking their heads. Most people do not want to hear the truth. They will not say it but in their minds they are thinking “why don’t you shut up and let me sin in peace”. These people are so deceived because there is no peace in a sinful life. Most people are more concerned about fitting into the world than they are about pleasing the One that died on the cross for them. That is flat out shameful! Anyone living that kind of life and reading this should drop to their knees and cry out in repentance! Those people that walked out while I preached a hard message that the Lord gave me will one day stand before the Lord. If they do not repent the Lord made it clear to me that they will be held accountable as He says “I sent my messenger to tell you the truth and you walked out in disgust”. Then they will hear some of the most feared words in all existence. “DEPART FROM ME”, then they will take their place in torment forever and ever!

People need to take a self-examination of themselves to see if they truly are living their lives for Jesus Christ.

2Corinthians 13:5 Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you--unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?

2Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith.

I use this example many times with people of asking them what percentage of a Christian they are? I had a group of people in our headquarters recently and a gang banger who I have been working with proudly said that he was up from the 30% he once told me to now being 60%. I said to the group, “let’s use that as an example”. I then said “if someone is living 60% for the Lord then who are they living the other 40% for”? One of the guys said “the devil” and I said “exactly”. I then said “well, let’s look at that same thing but if a marital situation”. I said “how would it work for you if you spent 60% of the time with your spouse but 40% of the time you went to your next door neighbor and shacked up with them”? They see this clear that a marriage would not work for long if it was done that way.

We are living in a day that people want to flash the “grace card” as a license to sin when what grace truly is, is an empowerment to keep us from sinning. The Holy God will not share us with the devil even 1%! He is a loving God but He is also a jealous and wrathful God!

Deuteronomy 29:20 The LORD will never pardon such people. Instead His anger and jealousy will burn against them. All the curses written in this book will come down on them, and the LORD will erase their names from under heaven.

Deuteronomy 6:15 for the LORD your God, who lives among you, is a jealous God. His anger will flare up against you, and He will wipe you from the face of the earth.

Nahum 1:2 The LORD is a jealous God, filled with vengeance and rage. He takes revenge on all who oppose Him and continues to rage against His enemies!

Zephaniah 1:14 "That terrible day of the LORD is near. Swiftly it comes—a day of bitter tears, a day when even strong men will cry out. 15 It will be a day when the LORD's anger is poured out—a day of terrible distress and anguish, a day of ruin and desolation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness, 16 a day of trumpet calls and battle cries. Down go the walled cities and the strongest battlements! 17 "Because you have sinned against the LORD, I will make you grope around like the blind. Your blood will be poured into the dust, and your bodies will lie rotting on the ground." 18 Your silver and gold will not save you on that day of the LORD's anger. For the whole land will be devoured by the fire of His jealousy. He will make a terrifying end of all the people on earth.

Zephaniah 3:7 I thought, 'Surely they will have reverence for Me now! Surely they will listen to My warnings. Then I won't need to strike again, destroying their homes.' But no, they get up early to continue their evil deeds. 8 Therefore, be patient," says the LORD. "Soon I will stand and accuse these evil nations. For I have decided to gather the kingdoms of the earth and pour out My fiercest anger and fury on them. All the earth will be devoured by the fire of My jealousy.

1Corinthians 10:22 What? Do we dare to rouse the Lord's jealousy? Do you think we are stronger than He is?

Thousands and thousands of professing American Christians will one day lift their eyelids to find themselves in hell for all eternity if they do not repent of the worldly lifestyle they are living. They will wish they could go back and make the corrections that they were warned of so many times. If you are reading this and not living right you will not be able to stand before the Lord and say you were not warned. He will say “I sent my messenger in hope that you would turn from your sin”.

Will you continue to stand in your “American form of Christianity” or will you change to the biblical form that is demanded of us to live in order to spend eternity in heaven? There is a difference and I pray that people wake up before it is too late!

2Timothy 3:1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

Never in all my days on this earth have I seen this country this bad. Sin continues to intensify on a daily basis. Men calling evil good and good evil! We have all been given a free will to live as we choose to live. Many are choosing the wrong path! How about you? Who will you serve? If you say, “the Lord”, will you strive to serve Him 100%? A man that we were ministering to last night spit out the lame excuse that none of us were perfect. I quickly shot that demon excuse down with Matthew 5:48 which states……

“you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect”.

We will not reach perfection while on this earth but we are to strive daily for it! I refuse to fit into this demonized country’s way of living. I refuse to fit in with “the american church crowd” who are ok with living a life of trying to serve two masters which the bible is clear that we cannot do.

Matthew 6:24 "No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other"

The Bible is clear that if you are practicing sin that you are of your father the devil! (1John 3:8)

Praise God for the pastors that are preaching the “UNCOMPROMISED TRUTH” of the Word of God! Praise God for the churches that are doing it “God’s way” instead of fitting into “the american mold of christianity” which monkeys can be trained to do.

Some if they have read this in its entirety have made the decision to unfriend me, to unsubscribe from emails or to discontinue financial support of this ministry. This has happened many times in the past eighteen years so it is not my first rodeo. I must be obedient to the Lord’s request of me even if it means my life on this earth. My obedience to the Lord comes with a sincere heart of hoping and praying that someone reading this will turn to a true walk with Jesus. I pray that if your walk is real then you will have someone else read this who you know is not walking right. Jesus calls us to holiness but so few want to adhere to it.

HO'LINESS, n. [from holy.] The state of being Holy; purity or integrity of moral character; freedom from sin; sanctity. Applied to the Supreme Being, holiness denotes perfect purity or integrity of moral character, one of his essential attributes.
That which is separated to the service of God.

1Peter 1:14 [Live] as children of obedience [to God]; do not conform yourselves to the evil desires [that governed you] in your former ignorance [when you did not know the requirements of the Gospel]. 15 But as the One Who called you is Holy, you yourselves also be Holy in all your conduct and manner of living. 16 For it is written, You shall be Holy, for I am Holy.

Leviticus 11:44 For I am the LORD your God. You must consecrate yourselves and be Holy, because I am Holy. 45 For I, the LORD, am the One who brought you up from the land of Egypt, that I might be your God. Therefore, you must be Holy because I am Holy.

Leviticus 19:2 "Give the following instructions to the entire community of Israel. You must be Holy because I, the LORD your God, am Holy.

John 17:16 They do not belong to this world any more than I do. 17 Make them Holy by Your truth; teach them Your word, which is truth. 18 Just as You sent Me into the world, I am sending them into the world. 19 And I give Myself as a Holy sacrifice for them so they can be made Holy by Your truth.

2Corinthians 7:1 Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete Holiness because we fear God.

Ephesians 2:20 Together, we are His house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus Himself. 21 We are carefully joined together in Him, becoming a Holy temple for the Lord.

1Thessalonians 3:12 And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows. 13 May He, as a result, make your hearts strong, blameless, and holy as you stand before God our Father when our Lord Jesus comes again with all His Holy people. Amen.

1Thessalonians 4:7 God has called us to live Holy lives, not impure lives. 8 Therefore, anyone who refuses to live by these rules is not disobeying human teaching but is rejecting God, who gives His Holy Spirit to you.

If the above scriptures are not enough there is one more scripture dealing with Holiness that tells it all as far as whether a person will spend eternity in heaven or not.

Hebrews 12:14 Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and Holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.

Hebrews 12:14 Try to live at peace with everyone! Live a clean life. If you don't, you will never see the Lord.

Hebrews 12:14 makes it perfectly clear that if you are not striving daily to be set apart from the world you are on your way to eternal HELL! If you are not striving daily to be consecrated, you are on your way to eternal HELL! If you are not striving daily to be pure in God’s eyes you are on your way to eternal HELL! If you are not striving daily to be obedient to His Word you are on your way to eternal HELL! If you are not striving daily to walk as He walked you are on your way to eternal HELL!

Every one of us was given a free will by the Lord to live however we want. That free will gives us the right to choose if God will be our daddy or if Satan will be our daddy. The choice today is still yours but you cannot straddle the fence. You cannot customize the Bible to fit your sinful life as so many try to do today. Even though you can find a pitiful so called church that will put up with your sin, don’t think for one moment that THE HOLY RIGHTEOUS GOD IN HEAVEN will put up with one speck of it!

CHOOSE THIS DAY WHO YOU WILL SERVE!

Joshua 24:15 But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD."

MINISTRY MARATHON GOING ON NOW!

Please come out and join us this week. Tonight we have a pizza party which will be supplied from a group from Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Saturday we will have a huge community outreach from 2 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. This is our primary fundraiser of the year. We are believing for the rent ($500 a month for each section) to be covered for the next year (from June until next May's Marathon Week). We are so happy to announce that we have the rent covered for our headquarters and we have four months covered for our HolyWay Cafe. For those that are not familiar with our cafe, we feed lunch and breakfast Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 until noon, The only reason that we only do those hours is that we only have help for that time. Our goal is that our headquarters and cafe will be staffed 24/7/365! We pray that people will come down and see what is going on here so that we can get more on board with giving their time, giving financially, lifting us up in prayer and spreading the word of what is going on in this ministry.

Here are the months that we still need covered.....

July - August - October - December for this year

January - February - April - May for 2017

We are praying that businesses, churches and individuals will get on board to help us get this covered. Please share this will others. I would be glad to have anyone come down and join us for a free breakfast so that we can show you live where your money would be going. We feed the prostitutes, pimps, addicts, alcoholics, homeless, etc. We make it clear that this is not a soup kitchen. It is a place where people that are trying to get out of their current circumstances can get some help. We offer rehabs to them to get them out of East Durham.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! If you would like to help us financially you can send your tax deductible check made out to Bull City Outreach to 4777 Helena-Moriah Rd. Rougemont, NC. 27572 or you can go to our website www.bullcityoutreach.org then click on the donate button to use PayPal.

Our refrigerator has seen better days. We need more refrigerator space! I have been looking for a commercial frig and now have found a nice one. It will cost us $1500 but will give us double the space that we have now. I told him that I needed a couple days to raise the money. I also needed to find someone that has a full size pickup that would go with me to a restaurant in Kinston to pick it up. I thought that was going to be difficult but the Lord has already touched someone's heart to take care of transporting it!

We have had $700 donated so far. Can you help us? If you would like to donate you can go to our website www.bullcityoutreach.org then click on the donate button to use PayPal or you can send your tax deductible check made out to Bull City Outreach to:

HELPING AT "THE MAC"

We loaded the van with coats, hats, gloves, blankets and other clothes to go and help the people of "The Mac" late yesterday afternoon. I was blessed to have Seth Richardson and David Vanie with me for the first time. The ministry to the people went into the evening in the bitter cold. So many people came out some without even coats to do some free shopping on Jesus! Think about it, how many of us would even shop without a roof over our heads and the heat or air that we need to keep us comfortable? In places like this the people do whatever they need to do to survive.

Here Seth Richardson just finished ministering to a family and now he is praying for them. Seth and David really have a heart for the lost!

The dad is someone that I have worked with a few years ago. He has been working on turning his life around and he was so happy to tell me of the changes he has made. It was awesome seeing him taking care of his kids!

Picture
The kids are so precious and I just love this picture of this little guy. He saw the stuffed animal horse and would not let go of it. He was such a cute little guy!

Picture
Here he is with his brother. Their dad had told them to say thank you and I told them that Jesus had given them the things and to point up and thank Him!

Here is Seth and David with Twin and Twone. I have ministered to both of these guys in the past. We were able to minister and pray for both of them. Pray that they completely surrender to the Lord.

Here of other pics of people shopping even after it got dark. Seth turned his car around and put his headlights on the items so that people could continue to get what they needed. Two thirds of all the things were gone before we left. I lined up a couple people to oversee things for today and to clean up any mess. I always tell them if the clean up is not done I will take things to a different area. Most of the time they do a good job of taking care of everything. Many of the people out there I have been ministering to for over seven years.

We had a great time in Jesus with the people of "The Mac". We were able to minister into some tense situations that we ran across also. Praise the Lord for all He is doing!

SOMETIMES WE THINK WE HAVE IT ROUGH?

I have been awake since around 2:30 this morning thinking about people that we ministered to and served yesterday. The HolyWay Cafe is booming for JESUS! The managers, Lew and Darlene Mack Seger are doing an absolutely fantastic job there! I walked into a jam packed room of happy people yesterday morning. Angie and I absolutely love seeing this! The coordination of the cafe and our headquarters is working like never before.

The things that have bothered me this morning have been first, a pregnant prostitute who came to the cafe without a proper coat and in shorts yesterday. Of course she did not announce why she did not have other clothes to put on but she told me. She lives in an abandoned house. Angie has taken her home before and was heartbroken as she watched her climb through a window into where she resides with no power or much of anything else. To make matters even worse she has a supposed boyfriend who had gotten mad at her the day before yesterday. They both use the same bucket (I will not use the name she uses for it) to go to the bathroom in and he decided to empty the bucket on all of her clothes and belongings! To have very little and to have something like that happen, how awful is that? She complained of her back aching along with other things from being pregnant. Sometimes we think we have it rough? I was going to go and purchase some sweat pants but I had an important meeting I had to take care of first. Renee and Darlene covered that for me which was a huge blessing but she took off before I could get them to her. She has had an awful crack habit off and on for the nearly seven years that I have been ministering to her. She has been pregnant I don't know how many times since I've known her. I can only remember one time when she lost a baby. Most of the time they are healthy! I will be looking for her this morning to get her the clothes.

Then there was another prostitute who had just got out of jail who also lives in an abandoned house. She has no shoes and is wearing flip flops. She is a size 8 if any of you ladies have extra shoes or boots. If I do not hear of any we will buy her some today because of the frigid temps that are coming.

I had to reopen the cafe for her and three homeless guys yesterday because they were all hungry. The Holy Spirit quickened a message inside of me for all of them after they had finished eating. I told them that I have personally ministered and talked with all four of them on a number of occasions. I said "if the Lord was to come back right now what would happen"? Only one said "I think I would be ok". After asking him some questions and telling him about the false doctrine he was taught it was even more clear to them what would happen. I said because you have been fed you would all go to hell full. I told them that this is by their own choice because they refuse to have a true relationship with Jesus. I love all four of them and consider them my friends. I believe all four of them know how much I care for them. Lew and Darlene are doing a great job of ministering to these people also.

Sometimes when I am in my warm and comfortable bed it becomes uncomfortable when I think of what these people are going through. I also told them that they are a decision away from getting their lives together! I pray they do this before it is too late. Any of the four of them could end up on "The Wall". Please pray for these people!

The scripture Lew and Darlene have on the chalk board at the Cafe for this week.....

Mark 8:34  Then, calling the crowd to join His disciples, He said, "If any of you wants to be My follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow Me.
