ANOTHER MURDER IN EAST DURHAM!

The car with the door open belonged to the victim. It had multiple bullet holes in it. Behind the black curtain laid the dead body. I ministered to the family and a number of people from the neighborhood. They kept saying "this neighborhood has to change". That opened the door for the message. "True change will not happen till people get a true relationship with Jesus". It is so sad to see the broken family members and friends.

There are always a number of on lookers. A great opportunity to take what the devil meant for bad and make good of it by ministering the Word of God!

John 10:10  The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

This was taken today after being  with the family at the murder site for a press conference. One of the brothers had called and asked me to come out for it. So sad to see the little kids that loved him laying things where he took his last breath. Thursday (his birthday) will be the victims viewing. Pastor Don Westbrook and I will be doing the funeral Friday afternoon @ 2:30.

One of the brothers said to me "I want you to help me start a campaign to end the violence.  He said "I want to march these streets and make it stop". I told him that if he and the rest involved did not have a strong relationship with JESUS that they would be wasting their time! I believe we just may be in the process of this brother changing his life for JESUS!

28 years old! Way too young to die!
